  I would give this place 0 stars if I could, but unfortunately google resticts me from that ability. Plato's Closet in Glendale Heights is possibly one of the worst stores I have ever been to, the customer service there is absolutely horrendous, instead of greeting a customer politely and genuinely, the workers instead aggressively yell "WELCOME TO PLATO'S CLOSET" clearly showing their amount of deprivation and lack of care. The store itself was a mess, partly due to the fact that most of the workers were just playing and yelling abruptly in the store about what their favorite book to read was in school, and obnoxiously shouting what song should be played. I understand that the demagraphic for this store is targeted at teens, but I personally think that the workers themselves should at least act a bit more professional and not treat the store as if it was their own playground or a place to socialize obviously. On the other side I did enjoy some of the items that at least stayed true to their policy of carrying "trendy" clothing and accesories, but the prices are ridiculous. Plato's closet is a second hand store, but yet they treat the clothing or accesories they receive as if tehy are an outlet store. I can basically obtain the same amount of clothing for an unused quality, a better price, and a more desirable atmosphere with customer service at an outlet store than Plato's Closet. Due to this unfortunate experience I will conclude that my next visit to Plato's Closet will be non-existent and I want to advise other consumers as a warning to some of the treatment and disappointment that might be expected at this store.
